LOS ANGELES - Disney has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action remake of the animated film "Moana."
The movie is expected to be in theaters on July 10, 2026.

Joined by Dwayne Johnson as the legendary demigod Maui, Moana embarks on a daring journey to restore prosperity to her people.
The film is directed by Emmy® and Tony Award® winner Thomas Kail (Hamilton) and produced by Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Beau Flynn, Hiram Garcia, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, with executive producers Thomas Kail, Scott Sheldon, Charles Newirth, and Auliʻi Cravalho—the original voice of Moana.
