Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is facing decades in prison if convicted of attempted murder.

Brown was extradited from Dubai on an arrest warrant earlier this month, having spent some time on the run after an incident that took place in Florida back in May.

ESPN is reporting that Brown is facing up to 30 years in prison on a guilty conviction. Attempted murder could carry a maximum of 15 years in jail in Florida; however, per Assistant State Attorney Stephanie Cruz, he could face double the time because a firearm was used.

The law is also said to carry a potential minimum sentence of 20 years.

A trial date has not been scheduled, but a judge has tentatively set a status hearing for December 22.
