The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee released a memo Monday outlining key strategies and lessons learned from the 2025 general election that saw Democrats victorious at state-level races all over the country. After 39 special election wins since November, Democrats came though with nothing short of a blue wave; winning in California and New York, but also in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Mississippi.

"The DLCC’s recipe for success has always been grounded in building incremental power and supporting caucuses through early investments and infrastructure," DLCC President Heather Williams wrote.
