Saturday Night Live has revealed a stacked line-up for December, including a holiday season diva-off between Ariana Grande and Cher for the last episode of 2025.

The Dec. 6 show will be hosted by Melissa McCarthy , who will be hosting for the sixth time. While McCarthy hasn’t hosted since 2017 , she did make several cameos in the interim, including a run as former Trump press secretary Sean Spicer and an appearance welcoming Martin Short into the “Five-Timers Club” last December. Dijon will make his debut as musical guest, having released his celebrated second LP Baby in August and recently scoring his first Grammy nominations .
