Sean Emberlin had his best game in the last one of the regular season for Linfield.
The junior from Seton Catholic caught two touchdown passes as the Wildcats routed Willamette 65-19 on Saturday. Emberlin hauled in a 71-yard TD in the first quarter then added a 12-yard score in the third quarter.
Emberlin finished the day with a season-high 83 receiving yards. He caught 13 passes for 242 yards this season.
The Wildcats (7-2, 6-1) finished second in the Northwest Conference and hope to earn an at-large berth to the NCAA Division-III playoffs. Linfield also set an NCAA record across all classifications by notching its 69th consecutive winning season.
