Florida basketball's Thomas Haugh earned SEC Player of the Week honors, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.

Haugh helped the Gators sweep a pair of instate rivals as No. 9 Florida (3-1) defeated both Florida State 78-76 and Miami 82-68.

This marks the first SEC weekly honor of Haugh’s career.

Haugh posted a double-double with a team-high 20 points along with 13 rebounds in the win against FSU . The junior forward then followed that with a 17-point, nine-rebound performance in the victory against Miami.

Haugh has scored double digits in all four games this season, and leads the Gators with 19 points per game and is averaging 8.5 rebounds per game.
