BROADVIEW, Ill. (WLS) -- The mayor of Broadview declared a "Civil Emergency Order" on Monday in response to a series of threats against city officials.

Mayor Katrina Thompson said there was a specific death threat made against her on October 13. On Sept. 4, the Village Hall received a bomb threat via telephone.
Thompson said on Saturday, Nov. 14m a group allegedly tried to "storm Village Halland explicitly threatened to 'shut down' the scheduled" a board meeting scheduled on Monday, Broadview police said.
On Saturday, two police officers were injured during a clash between protesters and officers outside the Broadview ICE facility .
An Illinois State Police trooper and Cook County Sheriff's deputy were also injured.
