The high school girls basketball season has tipped off in Western North Carolina.
The NCHSAA high school girls basketball season began Nov. 14 , following the NCISAA season by about a week. From the reigning All-WNC Player of the Year to All-WNC first team stars to players returning from injury, there are plenty of candidates to take the crown this season.
It's up to Western North Carolina basketball fans to vote for who they think will be the girls All-WNC Player of the Year in the 2025-26 season. Voting is open until noon on Nov. 21.
