Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) defended FBI Director Kash Patel’s reported decision to provide his girlfriend , Alexis Wilkins, with an FBI security detail.

Swalwell responded on Monday to a report from MS NOW, formerly MSNBC, dismissing backlash that Patel has received for protecting Wilkins , 27.
