The Akwesasne Wild jumped into Frontier Division’s third place after turning aside the South Grenville Rangers 5-2 at home on Saturday , for their second victory of the season. Article content Article content

The win gets them within one point of perennial second-place South Stormont Mustangs, who couldn’t maintain a four-point cushion after dropping an 8-3 home decision to the undefeated Pioneer Division-leading Manotick Mariners.

Meanwhile, defending champs North Dundas Rockets used a long layoff to regroup from their first loss (to Manotick on Oct. 25) by trouncing Pioneer’s Paugan Falls Rapids, 12-5 .
