POTTSTOWN — When Peggy Lee-Clark agreed to take over what was then the Pottstown Area Industrial Development organization in 2017, “I figured maybe I would stay a few months to help right the ship.”

Now, nine years and a name change later, Lee-Clark remains at the helm of the vibrant Pottstown Area Economic Development organization which celebrated its 60th anniversary Thursday with a gala luncheon at the Brookside County Club.

“There’s something about Pottstown that kind of gets under your skin,” she said.
