NFL legend Bernie Kosar confirmed that he underwent a successful liver transplant in a video shared on his X account Monday (November 17) afternoon.

"I'm out and I'm feeling good," Kosar said in a video from his hospital bed. "Ready to enjoy the rest of the week and the rest of our lives."

Kosar, 61, who spent the majority of his NFL career with the Cleveland Browns, was hospitalized for internal bleeding as he awaited the transplant. The former quarterback was due to undergo the procedure last week, however, the donor was found to be infected, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Kosar reportedly underwent seven procedures to stop the internal bleeding prior to the transplant.
