TWINSBURG, Ohio — The Twinsburg Police Department says a 15-year-old boy is in custody and facing a charge of murder after being accused of fatally shooting a 14-year-old girl Saturday in the 10800 block of Ravenna Road.
In a release sent out on Monday, Twinsburg police report that officers were dispatched to the area at around 11:48 a.m. Saturday morning after the girl left her home with a gun.
The girl's mother provided a description of her daughter.
"Officers responded to the area and began to search the vicinity for the girl," Twinsburg police reported in their release. "At 12:36 pm, Twinsburg Dispatch Center received a call from a White Oak Drive resident reporting that gun shots were heard in the area.
