A little known pro-Khalistan outfit Monday took responsibility for the killing of RSS activist Naveen Arora in Punjab’s Ferozepur. ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW VIDEO

In a statement issued on various social media platforms, Sher-e-Punjab Brigade announced its formation for the “cause of Khalistan’s freedom”. In their letter, they also warned that RSS, Shiv Sena members, police and military personnel will be targetted by the group in the future. The letter has been signed in the name of ‘Paramjit Singh’.

A senior Punjab Police officer said the antecedents of the senders of this letter will have to be verified. “It could be a fake letter/group or it could be an attempt at obfuscation to mislead the investigation into the murder of Naveen Arora,” he said. A senior intelligence officer said
