NBA veteran Kevin Love says he would represent the Cleveland Cavaliers if inducted into the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame.
In an interview with TMZ Sports , Love reflected on his time in Cleveland, noting that having his No. 0 jersey retired by the Cavs would be deeply meaningful.
“There’s just so many names up there,” Love said, referencing the Rocket Arena rafters. He expressed pride at the idea of being enshrined in Springfield , the home of the hall of fame, as a Cleveland Cavalier, not with any other team.
Love played for Cleveland from 2014-2023 and was part of the 2016 championship team. He averaged 15.7 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game during his Cavs tenure.
Love, who now plays with the Utah Jazz, says he’s thinking more about life after basketball.
