LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A woman initially thought to have non-life-threatening injuries from a collision while crossing a Las Vegas street died Friday.

According to police, the crash happened on Nov. 13 just after 8 p.m. at East Desert Inn Road and Brussells Street in central Las Vegas.

Investigators said an unidentified 73-year-old woman crossing Desert Inn Road “outside of a marked or implied crosswalk” was struck by a Toyota 4Runner attempting to make a turn.

The woman was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were determined to be life-threatening; however, on Friday, Clark County Coroner’s Office officials notified LVMPD investigators that she had died at the hospital.
