New Aberdeen sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel has warned Aberdeen fans he's not here to clap his hands and fix all of the club's problems. ‌

The Dons have picked up recently under Jimmy Thelin after a a slow start to the season. ‌

Last term's dramatic Scottish Cup win over Celtic seemed like it happened in another lifetime with Aberdeen rooted to the foot of the Premiership table. ‌

Pfannenstiel was a colourful character as a player, turning out for 24 clubs on every continent, being jailed for alleged match fixing in Singapore and kidnapping a penguin in New Zealand, keeping it in his bath.
