DULUTH — The Minnesota State Fair has made its first Grandstand concert announcement for 2026. "Weird Al" Yankovic will play the fair on Friday, Aug. 28.

Duluth gets "Weird Al" two months sooner, though.

The master of pop song parody will perform at Amsoil Arena on Friday, June 26. It will be the first Minnesota show on the 2026 leg of Yankovic's "Bigger and Weirder Tour," promising a "super-sized concert experience."

It will be a marked contrast to Yankovic's last Duluth show; he played Symphony Hall in 2022, in a tour focusing on his original songs. The Bigger and Weirder Tour, though, stacks the hits — other people's — some of which became Yankovic's own hits after he changed the lyrics.
