President Donald Trump on Monday blamed his raspy voice on shouting during trade discussions, insisting his health was fine despite sounding hoarse.

“I was shouting at people because they were stupid about something having to do with trade in a country,” Trump told reporters, adding that he “straightened it out” but “blew my stack at those people.” He declined to identify the country involved, saying only that it had tried to renegotiate the terms of its trade deal and he “wasn’t happy about it.”

Trump said he feels “great” and dismissed any health concerns.
