Cheri Bergeron knew that her then-husband’s relationship with his mother wasn’t healthy when he drove 2.5 hours every six weeks to get his hair cut by the stylist they shared.

Her mother-in-law had divorced when her then-husband was 8 years old and had never dated or remarried. Instead, she had downloaded all of her emotional needs onto her children.
