CLARE COUNTY, Mich. (WNEM) - Three people have died following a crash on M-115 near Harding Avenue in Surrey Township.

On Thursday, Nov. 13, at approximately 9:11 p.m., Clare County Central Dispatch received a report of a two-car crash, with reports that one was on fire.

Deputies from the Clare County Sheriff’s Office and personnel from the Surrey Township Fire Department responded to the scene.

The sheriff’s office said that fire crews extinguished the burning car, and deputies began investigating.

Deputies believe that a black 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a 20-year-old man from Detroit was traveling westbound on M-115 with three passengers: a 20-year-old man and two women, ages 19 and 21, all from Detroit. The Jeep crossed the center line into the eastbound lane, the sheriff
