Philadelphia — The Detroit Lions appeared to have a shot at pulling off a miracle Sunday night.

Then the yellow laundry hit the turf.

With 1:51 remaining in the fourth quarter of a 16-9 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles , Lions cornerback Rock Ya-Sin made a play to defend a critical third-down pass to Eagles receiver A.J. Brown and force an incompletion that would have given Detroit the ball back with plenty of time left and one timeout.
