The looming threat of sleet didn’t dampen the spirit of thousands of residents who lined Cornwall’s Second Street Saturday to enjoy dozens of floats and welcome Santa himself during the Service Club Council of Cornwall Santa Parade.

There were 63 parade entries, said parade committee president Terry Muir.

That’s a noticeable drop from close to 80 in 2024 , but that number was likely a record for the decades-old parade.

“The effort and time put into the floats in the parade shows when they roll down Second Street,” said a Facebook post from the parade committee . “They were absolutely beautiful and the parade committee thanks everyone for their time and investment to make a float for the parade.
