Once home to a shopping mall, Pittsburgh’s largest tech hub is for sale — and billed as a potential site for more data centers.
The real estate firm Newmark is listing Nova Place, a 32-acre office complex on the North Side, for sale on behalf of Faros Properties, Newmark Executive Vice Chairman Adam Doneger confirmed. The real estate firm’s New York office will handle the listing.
Faros, a New York-based developer, purchased Nova Place in 2015. The three-building office complex was half empty before the developer invested heavily in upgrades, bringing the property up to 85% occupied as it morphed into a center for high-tech companies including Innovation Works, Gecko Robotics and Castle Biosciences.
