ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBTV) - Many Charlotte businesses have temporarily closed or canceled events as Border Patrol agents continue operation “Charlotte’s Web” in the Queen City. Many surrounding areas including South Carolina businesses are now doing the same.

Over the last few days several South Carolina businesses have posted on social media that they are canceling events or working to support the community.

The start of the week is usually a busier time at La Tapatia grocery store in Rock Hill, but manager Rosa Beltran says this week is different.

“A Monday at this time it will be full of customers and because of this situation that’s going on we have like just a few,” Beltran said.
