Both the NSW and Federal Governments have joined forces to commit $100 million for critical safety improvements on a key link across the Blue Mountains.

Motorists, businesses, and industry are now invited to have their say on which specific upgrades should take top priority on the Bells Line of Road .

The Federal Government is providing the significant investment to fund a package of targeted safety improvements on the route, one of only two major crossings over the Blue Mountains between Sydney and the state's Central West.

The NSW Government will oversee the delivery of the work, and engineering specialist firm Civil Consulting and Highway Design (CCHD) Pty Ltd has been appointed to investigate and identify strategic upgrade options.
