LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) -But don’t get too excited, this will not bring a huge change in temperatures.
Warm and humid weather will stick around for most of the week with morning lows only reaching the low to mid 60s and afternoon highs into the low 80s! Fog will be likely each morning too with visibility possibly dropping to less than 1 mile in many areas, locally dense fog is possible as well.
Rain chances look to be near zero through Wednesday as high pressure remains in control of our weather. But that will change starting Thursday when we may begin to see some scattered showers.
Friday will bring the best chance of rain to SWLA and even then models are trending drier with each update and that is not good for our ongoing drought situation. Severe weather does not look likely at this
