President Donald Trump on Monday warned that he would endorse primary opponents for Indiana state GOP lawmakers who opposed redistricting the state amid a push from the White House for state Republicans to alter the maps to boost their chances of holding the House in 2026.

A number of Republican-led states, including Texas and Ohio, have moved to redraw their maps in a manner to favor the incumbent party. California, for its part, has responded with a redistricting bid of its own, hoping to negate the GOP changes. Indiana, thus far, has declined to alter its maps.
