BOONVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Impact Ministries has launched a new program called "Impact Cares" to assist children in need within the community.
Ashley Miller, the associate minister at Impact Ministries, spoke with 44News about the program.
"When Warrick County children have things like field trips, picture day, snack days like popcorn, Kona Ice... anything like that that their family may not be able to afford on a normal basis, that's where we come in," Miller said.
The program aims to help with more than just field trips and snacks.
Miller said they also provide support for school pictures, caps and gowns, or any other needs a child might have.
She explained how the funds are distributed.
"We will bring that money to the school before their field trip or whatever and give the money to
