LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD)- Following an 81-77 loss at No. 14 Illinois (now No. 8), the Texas Tech men’s basketball team (3-1) has dropped to No. 15 in the Associated Press rankings released Monday afternoon. The team is now gearing up for a business trip to the Bahamas for the Baha Mar Hoops tournament. There, they await Wake Forest and then- potentially No. 1 Purdue who will face Memphis.
“I think the key to it though, is that on these road trips to these locations where the temperature is warmer, you just got to stay hydrated,” said men’s basketball coach Grant McCasland. “It really comes down to nutrition because you’re playing two games in a couple days and you got to be prepared for all of it.
