BELLA VISTA -- The city is seeking voter approval in a special election Tuesday to extend its 1% sales tax to enable funding of long-term capital projects.

Voting centers will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the following locations, according to the Benton County Election Commission:

Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Drive, Bella Vista

Highlands Global Methodist Church, 371 Glasgow Road, Bella Vista

St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1 St. Bernard Lane, Bella Vista

Bella Vista Church of Christ, 989 N. McNelly Road, Bentonville

Early voting in the election started Wednesday and finished Monday. A total of 87 people had voted as of 4 p.m. Monday, according to the Benton County Clerk's Office.
