MANSFIELD, La. -- "Welcome to DeSoto Parish," was the greeting two fleeing suspects received Sunday following an hours long, multi-agency search.
"Yea, y'all some bad boys," admitted one of the men being handcuffed.
"Everything's over but the crying now, boys. Let's go," a deputy told one of the suspects.
That was the successful end to a manhunt that involved a helicopter, drone technology and three well-trained K-9s -- along with the deputies who operate them all.
In the end, DeSoto sheriff's deputies tracked two of four men who led deputies on a pursuit that started in Natchitoches Parish.
