CHUBBUCK — Hundreds of people flocked to the ICCU headquarters Saturday to celebrate the kickoff of an initiative designed to spread the spirit of Christmas and give a helping hand to those in need.

The Light the World Giving Machine initiative, spearheaded and funded by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, invites community members to donate to charities both local and international.
