PITTSBURGH —
A judge sentenced a former McKeesport detective to jail time after he pleaded guilty to stealing more than $1 million from the Fraternal Order of Police.

The sentence outraged FOP officials whose dues were stolen by Osinski.
"I thought that was a ridiculous and light sentence," said Mike Slawianowski, president of FOP Lodge 91.
"He recommended raising our dues every year just so we put more money in his pocket. And I think 9 to 18 months is despicable. I think he should be in jail for a lot longer with no alternative housing," said Matthew Feldmeier, an FOP board member.
