IOWA CITY — Class of 2026 receiver Xavier Stinson has committed to Iowa football.
Stinson, who attends Vero Beach High School in Florida, is a 3-star wide receiver, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is also ranked 637th nationally in the 2026 recruiting class.
Stinson is listed at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds.
As a junior, Stinson recorded 43 receptions for 740 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. His senior season is still underway as Vero Beach is in the state playoffs. But so far, he has accumulated 32 receptions for 513 yards and six touchdowns as a senior.
Stinson originally committed to UCLA in June, but changed direction after the firing of head coach Deshaun Foster. After decommitting from UCLA, Stinson picked up a variety of offers, including Tulane, Wisconsin, Cincinnati
