Lake-effect snow bands and gusty winds will continue to affect the northwestern parts of central Pennsylvania through early evening Monday before gradually diminishing overnight. Most areas are currently experiencing above-freezing temperatures.
The National Weather Service in State College reports that snow accumulations have been limited today as bands haven’t remained stationary long enough to produce significant totals.
Winds near advisory levels in southeastern areas will decrease over the next several hours as the low-pressure system moves away from the region.
For Tuesday, a fast-moving weather system will bring light precipitation to the area, primarily in the form of rain.
