As the Dallas Cowboys take the field for the first time since the death of second-year defensive end Marshawn Kneeland on Nov. 6, they're using their Monday Night Football showdown against the Las Vegas Raiders to honor his life.

Cowboys players and staff will wear special shirts as a tribute to Kneeland, a second-round pick out of Western Michigan in the 2024 NFL draft. Players will also wear a helmet decal with Kneeland's No. 94 for the remainder of the season.

Dallas also reportedly prepared a locker to honor him.

Kneeland died 11 days ago of what police are calling a "possible suicide" following a pursuit in Frisco, Texas. His car was later found abandoned after a crash, and he was later found with an "apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound."

A former Second Team All-MAC selection in college, Kneeland appeared in 18 games with four starts in his two seasons in the league. His only NFL touchdown came two days before his death, when he recovered a blocked punt in the end zone in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals.
