REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders are back in Regina with the Grey Cup.
The Roughriders returned home Monday on a flight from Winnipeg after their 25-17 win over the Montreal Alouettes on Sunday night.
Shortly after landing at Regina airport, the Riders made their way to Mosaic Stadium to give fans their first look at the Grey Cup since the victory
It was just a brief appearance as players took turn speaking to the fans and hoisting the Cup from the top of the stadium above the Rider Store.
It was a raucous scene outside of the northeast gate with fans cheering each of the players who spoke, but the biggest cheers were reserved for quarterback Trevor Harris, the Grey Cup Most Outstanding Player.
Harris told the crowd that the team had been "motivated this by our love for one anoth
