CASTINE -- Over the weekend the Maine Maritime volleyball team won their second straight NAC title in Castine.

The mariners swept SUNY Delhi with ease on Saturday afternoon, winning in straight sets.

The Broncos out of New York tied the second set at 13 looking to make a push, but Maine Maritime went on a 12-5 run to close it out and take full control.

It's the Mariners second title victory in a row and 12th since 2007. They say it feels good to get it for the upperclassmen, and that it took constant commitment all year long.

"It was super exciting because they didn't the year before, and I was with the sophomores at the time, and they really, really wanted to win it last year," said Maine Maritime sophomore libra Hannah Tate. "And I think this year was just to tell that we are here
