LUMBERTON — Robeson Community College announced Monday that the Julian T. Pierce Memorial Foundation has presented a $30,000 donation to support student scholarships. This year’s contribution, raised during the Foundation’s annual Scholarship Dinner on Aug. 9, continues to strengthen the endowment dedicated to supporting RCC students.

The Foundation honors the life and legacy of Julian T. Pierce, a visionary Lumbee leader, attorney and advocate for equity and justice. The Foundation has partnered with Robeson Community College since 2013. Through its continued generosity, the Foundation helps expand access to higher education for students in Robeson County and strengthens the community’s future workforce.
