LSU women race out to early lead, defeat Tulane on road

The No. 5 Tigers (5-0) breezed through their first four matchups, then traveled down to New Orleans on Monday and defeated the Green Wave (2-2), winning 100-71 in a game that was decided in the first quarter. In Fogelman Arena, LSU raced out to an early 27-4 lead – an advantage wide enough to withstand what turned into a more even battle across the second, third and fourth frames.

Tulane hung with Missouri in an eight-
