2022's The Batman gave us one of the most grounded and emotional live-action Dark Knights we've ever seen on screen. However, the movie did hold back on some more classic elements from Batman's established mythology.

As seen in the 2022 DC movie directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman focuses on a younger, less polished Caped Crusader, only two years into his vigilante career. As a result, some of Batman's most iconic gadgets and weapons never appeared. Nevertheless, the most glaring omission from Batman's arsenal is something the upcoming sequel could and should correct.
