Just in time for the holidays, the MSU Extension office in Van Buren County is planning a workshop on conflict resolution for next month.

Extension educator Tyler Augst tells us Communicating Through Conflict will be a two-hour presentation held on Saturday, December 6 at the Extension office in Hartford. He’ll share tips on how to resolve a disagreement without letting it spiral out of control.

“ Really, it’s meant to be interactive and give folks who come out some of the skills and then some chance to practice those skills working on a conflict to figure out how to pause, ask some more questions, listen a little deeper, and really get through a conflict with somebody so that you can maintain that relationship on the other end,” Augst said.
