The Toronto Blue Jays have some key players in free agency, and have some tough decisions to make in reagrds to their futures. Among those players is future Hall of Famer Max Scherzer.
Scherzer signed with the Blue Jays on a one-year deal, but did not have his best season. The veteran started 17 regular-season games and had a 5.79 ERA. He wasn't great, but he ended up being very valuable in October. In three postseason starts, Scherzer went 14 1/3 innings and allowed six earned runs. In Game 7 of the World Series, he gave the Blue Jays 4 1/3 innings, allowing just one run.
Scherzer has noted he wants to keep playing, but the Blue Jays may not be a fit this offseason. The team has other options to fill out the rotation, and Scherzer's one month of solid baseball in October may not be enou
