Cedar Crest (3-1-0) erupted for five goals in the third period to pull away from Central Dauphin (1-3-1) in a 6–2 victory on Monday night.

After a scoreless first period, each team converted once in the second, with Central Dauphin’s Javon Malone opening the scoring on a power play before Dawson Martin answered for Cedar Crest.

The game broke open in the final frame as Jaxon Bucher dominated the period, recording a hat trick in a span of five minutes.

Bucher also assisted on the go-ahead tally by Owen Sensenig, who finished with a goal and two assists. Carson Aller added an insurance marker late to seal the win.

Gabriel Feyrer scored CD’s second goal of the night.
