The Kansas City Chiefs are running out of excuses after Sunday's 22-19 loss to the Denver Broncos .

One year removed from recording 11 one-score wins in 2024, the Chiefs are now 0-5 in such games this season and currently sit at 5-5 as the AFC's ninth seed.

The explosiveness has been relatively nonexistent on this Chiefs team, something it is not used to in the Patrick Mahomes era. That is why former NFL player and current ESPN analyst Damien Woody has run out of excuses for them.
