JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — There's a growing call for justice after a woman was found dead under a bridge on Jacksonville's Westside Sunday night.
Family and friends have identified the woman as Tiffany Felton, a beloved mother, sister and friend.
Police are still working to piece together how Felton died and ended up underneath a bridge on Blanding Boulevard, near the Cedar River.
Community leaders tell First Coast News the public’s help can be crucial in solving this case.
“This was an unnecessary killing. Him or her left this lady under a bridge, under a bridge. It's just, it's just sad,” said AJ Jordan, Outreach Coordinator with MAD DADS.
Around 6:30 Sunday evening, Jacksonville sheriff’s officers were flagged down by a fisherman who said he saw a woman’s body.
