HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - In Kelah Lowe’s first season leading the Lady Commodores, Perry Co. Central went 19-13.

The Lady Commodores graduated two seniors, including second-leading scorer Shyanne Couch.

Lowe and her staff return their top contibutor, Taylor Counch (10.1 points per game) as well as Brooklyn Cornett, who was not far behind Couch in scoring (9.7 ppg).

One new addition to Lowe’s roster is Freshman Guard Ryleigh Feltner, who averaged 5.5 points as an eighth-grader.

Last season, the Lady ‘Dores were 17th in the state for attempted shots. This year Perry Co. Central is priding themselves on run-and-gun basketball, valuing the shots they take.
