Attack at Kochi bar with machetes and other weapons; 3, including woman, arrested

Kochi: The police have arrested three people, including a woman, who were part of a group that carried out attack with deadly weapons at a bar in Vyttila. The arrested are Aleena, a native of Thiruvananthapuram, and Shahin Sha and Al Ameen, both from Kollam, according to the Maradu police. Police said that the search for the remaining who were involved in the incident is ongoing.

The attack took place on Sunday when a group armed with weapons, including machetes, stormed the bar in Vyttila. The five-member group, which included a woman, got into an argument with a middle-aged man while they were drinking. Seeing this, a bar employee intervened. The group then assaulted the bar employee.
