A court has heard the details of a violent feud that saw a man threaten a woman with a samurai sword, only to be stabbed by the same woman one month later.
Dressed in a white gown, confined to a hospital bed, Aaron Richard Ward appeared by video link to Bathurst Local Court on October 28, 2025 to plead guilty to a string of charges.
The 38-year-old Jamieson Place, Windradyne resident was to be sentenced for intimidation, contravening an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) and being carried in a stolen car.
He was eligible for parole on November 3, 2025, after his sentence was backdated to his arrest in February.
